Now that the Exo campaign has ended on Kickstarter, we're getting a lot of requests for the wallet itself here on the site.
Currently, we're in pre-production for Exo and will be into February, when things start hotting up. We're buying in leather, strip knives for cutting the leather, the steel, brass and copper parts, sheet steel, copper and brass also, buttons, springs and a variety of new tools to get used to using, not least our industrial sewing machine.
Maximus has been the fan favourite by a country mile, particularly in Signature. The extra space on the rear has really resonated with people. More storage for important extras and bits and bobs has made the Carbon concept more popular than ever before.
Minimus brings a classic Carbon feel to the Exo game: more storage buit keeping that sleek outline of all previous Carbon iterations. Minimus isn't half the wallet Maximus is: it's double it's predecessor and then some, bringing sleek style to the world of minimalism without compromising on function and form.
All will be available in a variety of leathers, with a further selection of linings for Maximus, with engraving as a further option thrown in for free.
Exo isn't just a huge leap forward in terms of wallet design; it's also taking Vanacci in new directions. Can we justify having an industrial sewing machine for one design? Maybe, but it opens up whole new areas of exploration for what we can achieve.
