What We Learned This Week: Ultra-Black Vases, Minimalist Tables and Butterflies (and also WIN STUFF!)
Look at this here vase (if you can see it):
So black. So impossibly black...
Geometrica, the work of designer Giuseppe Bessero, the vase is described as :
"...an object that interacts with the external environment and with people. Container and contents are blended together, creating a small ecosystem consisting of flowers, electronic circuits and metal structures."
How much more black could this be?
Moving on to tables (if they can be called that), the design work being done over at Nendo is just lovely:
Moving slightly into the world of art, I can only hope someone tries to capitalise on these wonderful flipbook installations from Juan Fontanive
I also learned that the contrast was way too high on my monitor and I can now see much more of the world on my screen.
